Kai Limburg (* 1962 ) is a former German basketball player .

Life

Limburg took part in 1979 with the German national cadet team in the  European championship of this age group, which was held in Syria , and scored seven points per match during the tournament. A year later he started with the FRG selection at the Junior European Championships in Yugoslavia , where he got an average of 2.0 points per game.

At club level, he played for UBC Münster in the 2nd basketball league . In 1984 he won the German championship title with ASC Göttingen , and in 1985 he won the DBB Cup with Lower Saxony . He also played with the ASC in the European Cup. After his competitive sports career, he remained loyal to basketball and took part in German championships in the senior men's area with the BG 74 Göttingen . In 2014 he strengthened the syndicate DJK Köln-Nord / BG Köln and became German champion in the age group 50+.
