Kai Pohl

Kai Pohl (* 1964 in Wittenburg ) is a German writer and artist .

Life

In 2006, together with Alexander Krohn, Pohl co-founded the epidemic of the arts and the literary magazine floppy myriapoda , is editor of poetry anthologies, member of the editorial board of the magazine Abwärts! and works as a graphic designer.

Kai Pohl's texts (poetry, prose, cut-up , essays, reviews) have been published in various media, including Abwärts! (Berlin), Die Brücke (Saarbrücken), Opponent (Berlin), The Mongol is waiting (Düsseldorf), Pareidolia (Hamburg), Perspektive (Graz, Austria), Prologue (Berlin), Risse (Rostock), Paramedic (Ostheim / Rhön) , Superbastard (Augsburg), Teflon (Athens), telegraph (Berlin), TorTour (Berlin), V (Feldkirch, Austria), Junge Welt , Wienzeile (Vienna, Austria) and Zweifel (Friedelsheim, Frankfurt am Main, Berlin).

Alexander Krohn and the Electrotrash-Duo! The Same ( Rex Joswig , Helmar Kreysig) have set various texts by Kai Pohl to music. Some of his poems have been translated into English, French, Greek, Italian and Polish.
