But Sakuya's strong desire to protect his loved one drives him to white heat and he loses his patience more and more often, so that he has to be reassured by his band members.

Characters

Aine Yukimura (Japanese 雪村 愛 音 )

Aine is a main character in the manga series and is a rather shy but happy high school girl. When she is almost hit by a car, Sakuya gives her a ticket for his next concert in the Tokyo Dome. There she suddenly hears her lost lyrics on stage. As a lyricist, Aine deserves her own place in the band. She knows what the fans of Λucifer want and writes that down in her lyrics.

Sakuya Ōkochi (Japanese 大 河内 咲 也 )

Sakuya is also a main character and lead singer of the popular rock band Λucifer. He is known for his remarkable blue eyes, which he inherited from his American father. Like his mother, he used to sing and play the piano for club guests. To make more money, he also worked as a male hostess. Because of his difficult childhood, Sakuya has lost faith in people. When he finds Aine's lyrics, he urges her to write more lyrics for Λucifer. At first he just thinks of himself and just uses Aine, but after a while he begins to develop real feelings for the girl. Sakuya has a half-brother named Ralph Grazer.

Yukifumi "Yuki" Todo (Japanese 藤 堂 雪 文 )

Yuki is one of the founders of the band and an old friend of Santa. The guitarist is the strong leader of the group and bears most of the responsibility. As the eldest son of a traditional theater family, he is faced with a tough decision when he wins a record deal. When he decides to join the band, he is denied by his father. Later, however, you realize that the two have a friendly relationship with each other.

Kazuto "Towa" Sakuma (Japanese 佐 久 間 和 斗 )

Because of Towa's androgynous good looks, which is largely due to his long blond wavy hair, not only women lie at the bassist's feet, but men also faint in front of him. But because of his looks, Towa is often annoyed, but he doesn't care. Only the opinion of his girlfriend Miya is important to him. Miya is Λucifer's official makeup artist and has been friends with Towa since childhood. She is a very simple person and totally complements Towa.

Yoshihiko "Santa" Nagai (Japanese 永 井 良 彦 )

Santa plays the drums in the band and got his nickname because he was born on Christmas Day. Santa is a rather relaxed, but definitely loud guy. Little is known about his history compared to his band colleagues. He used to play with his girlfriend Yumi.

Atsuro Kiryū (Japanese 桐 生 敦 郎 )

Atsuro is a friendly and happy character. He has been with his stepsister Yūka for a long time, but tries by all means to keep the relationship a secret from his parents, the press and his bandmates. In the end, however, it turns out that everyone in the band, except Sakuya, knew about his relationship. So Yūka and Atsuro decide to share it with the rest of the world.
