The Kaiserbalje is a tidal channel and fairway in the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park .

The Kaiserbalje leads north of the Butjadingen peninsula over the mudflats , the so-called Hohe Weg . It connects the Inner Jade with the Outer Weser and can only be passed when the tide is high . The current height of the tidal flats is published with notices for seafarers . The changeable fairway is marked with a prick every year from the beginning of May to mid-September .
