Kakari-iwa ( Japanese か か り 岩 'Hanging Rock' ) is a small nunatak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises around 5.5 km southeast of Mount Gaston de Gerlache in the southern part of the Queen Fabiola Mountains .
Japanese scientists made measurements in 1973 and naming in 1981.
