Kale nudes
Kaleakte ( Greek Καλὴ Ἀκτὴ “beautiful promontory”), also Kalakta ( Καλάκτα ), Latin Calacte , was an ancient city on the north coast of Sicily near today's Caronia .
It was born in 446 BC. Founded by Sicelians and colonists from Corinth under the leadership of Duketios . Little is known about the further history of the city; but it seems to have been of some importance in Hellenistic times, as its minting and connections to the Sanctuary of Delphi show. The Roman governor Gaius Verres robbed the city in the 1st century BC. Chr. From. Kale Akten was the birthplace of the historian Silenus and the rhetor Kaikilios (Caecilius).
Most of the archaeological remains are a water reservoir.
