Thomas Höllbacher

Thomas Höllbacher (born October 12, 1976 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian judoka and manager.

Life

He fights for the judo club ASV-ÖGJ Judo Salzburg in the Bundesliga. Because of Ludwig Paischer , he was only in the extended squad of the Austrian national team . In 2000 he became Austrian champion in the weight class up to 60 kg. His greatest success was third place at the 1996 World Cup in Basel .

He also fought in the German Bundesliga for the JC Leipzig judo club .

In 2010 he worked as Marketing Manager at Wüstenrot in Salzburg.

As of 2019, he is employed as regional marketing director at Berner SE in Austria.

Höllbacher was able to achieve the following successes in the 60 kg weight class:

  • 3rd place Swiss International Basel 1996
  • 5th place A-Tournament Sofia 2002
