Extensive renovation work began in 2009, turning the only covered ice surface into a multifunctional arena that meets modern requirements. In addition to ice hockey and public ice skating, the main hall can also be used for inline hockey and indoor soccer . The complex also includes two sports halls, a sauna area, a hostel for a maximum of 60 people, a clubhouse, a restaurant and two parking spaces. The total capacity of the arena is 1750 spectators. The cost of the renovation was about 295 million CZK and was reopened on May 10, 2010 by Senator Alexandr Vondra .
