Kalo Chorio ( Greek Καλό Χωριό ( n. Sg. ) 'Good village') is a local community in the municipality of Agios Nikolaos of the municipality of the same name in eastern Crete . The distance to the center of Agios Nikolaos is about twelve kilometers. In 2001 the statistics counted 539 inhabitants in the village of Kalo Chorio itself and 1,125 inhabitants in the entire local community.

In the area of ​​Kalo Chorio there are several bathing beaches, such as Karavostasis Beach, Kalo Chorio Beach and Golden Beach in Vulisma Bay. There are also numerous small archaeological sites ranging from the Stone Age , through the Minoan Period to the Roman Age , including Vrokastro and Priniatikos Pyrgos .
