Calonymos Wissotzky
Kalonymos Ze'ev Wissotzky (* 1824 in Žagarė (today Joniškis district , Lithuania ), Russia; † 1904 in Moscow ) was a Russian-Jewish agronomist, tea producer (founded the famous tea company of his name in Moscow in 1858) and philanthropist (foundation for technical center Haifa , patron of Palestine). He supported Chowewe Zionist or Zionist projects on a large scale throughout his life .
