Tiskre (German Tischer ) is a district ( Estonian asum ) of the Estonian capital Tallinn . It is located in the Haabersti district .

Tiskre is the westernmost district of Tallinn. It was separated from the homonymous village of Tiskre ( Tiskre küla ) in the rural municipality of Harku in 1975 and incorporated into the city of Tallinn. The name Tiskre has been used since 1522 ( Tiszkeranne ) or 1531 ( Diskerkulle ) and 1641 ( Tischker ).

Tiskre borders the Baltic Sea with the Bay of Kakumäe . The stream Tiskre oja flows through the district .

Tiskre today has 1,507 inhabitants (as of May 1, 2010). Numerous new buildings for the Estonian upper class characterize the cityscape.
