Veskimetsa is a municipality ( Estonian asum ) of the Estonian capital Tallinn . The district is located in the Haabersti district .

Veskimetsa is very sparsely populated with only 16 inhabitants. The name of the city district literally means "mill forest". The district is largely natural.

The Tallinn Zoo ( Estonian Tallinna Loomaaed ), the only zoological garden in Estonia, is located in Veskimetsa on a former military site .
