Pikaliiva (in German "Long Sand") is a district ( Estonian asum ) of the Estonian capital Tallinn . It is located in the Haabersti district .

The municipality has 1,679 inhabitants (as of May 1, 2010).

In the south, Pikaliiva borders on the 1.6 square kilometer Harku Lake ( Harku järv ). It is a popular destination especially for water sports enthusiasts and anglers.
