The Kalvestrøm ( Danish for "Kalbsstrom") is an approx. 15 km long and up to 10 meters deep strait between the Danish islands Sjælland and Tærø on the one hand and Falster , Farø and Bogø on the other. To the west it branches off from Storstrøm , to the east it opens into Ulvsund . The northern Farø Bridge crosses the Kalvestrøm north of Farø Island.
