Comradeship Walter Spangenberg

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kameradschaft Walter Spangenberg (Free Network Cologne) was a right-wing extremist group in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate .

history

The group was banned by the Interior Ministry of North Rhine-Westphalia on May 8, 2012.

Immediately after the ban, the police in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate searched the apartments and detention cells of 14 members of the association in Bocholt , Bonn , Dortmund , Erftstadt , Frankenthal (Palatinate) , Frechen , Koblenz , Cologne and Wöllstein ; they confiscated the property and emblems of comradeship. The authorities investigated against the leader of the comradeship Axel Reitz . Reitz worked closely with two leading comradeship members of the criminal association Aktionbüro Mittelrhein .

The basis for the prohibition under the Association Act is the glorification of National Socialism operated by the comradeship and the rejection of the legal system of the Federal Republic of Germany . Any further activity and the showing of the club's emblems is prohibited, as is the formation of substitute organizations.

Namesake

Walter Spangenberg was an SA man from Cologne who was killed in a street fight with communists on February 25, 1933 . The NSDAP declared him a " martyr of the movement". Following on from the National Socialist Transfiguration, the Cologne neo-Nazis honored their namesake as “martyrs” - most recently in February 2012 with a “hero's memory” at the Melaten cemetery .
