The Kameralamt Balingen was an institution of the Kingdom of Württemberg , which administered property and income of the state in the administrative district. It existed in Balingen from 1806 to 1922 . The camera office was created as part of the reorganization of the state finance administration in the Kingdom of Württemberg.

history

By ordinance of July 14, 1807, the patrimonial offices of Count von Bissingen zu Dotternhausen, Count von Stauffenberg zu Geislingen and von Pach zu Oberhausen were assigned to the Balingen camera office with regard to the collection of income.

According to the ordinance of June 11, 1819, the Ebingen camera office was dissolved and incorporated into the Balingen camera office, with the exception of those places which were ceded to the Tuttlingen camera office.

According to the order of the Ministry of Finance of December 28, 1830, the locations Erlaheim and Dormettingen were assigned by the Rosenfeld camera office to the Balingen camera office.

According to the ordinance of March 6, 1843, the places Dormettingen, Dotternhausen, Hausen am Tann and Rosswangen were assigned to the Rottweil camera office.

Official building

The former official building at Ölbergstrasse 23 is a three-story, rear-facing three-wing building. The plastered building with the city coat of arms was assembled from two buildings in 1815. Part of the medieval city ​​wall is used in the east facade of the south wing . The former camera office building is a protected architectural monument.
