Lockenhaus Chamber Music Festival
The Lockenhaus Chamber Music Festival is an international music festival in the market town of Lockenhaus in Burgenland .
The chamber music festival was founded in 1981 by the violinist Gidon Kremer and directed until 2011. The cellist Nicolas Altstaedt has been the festival's artistic director since 2012 . Classical concerts with top-class musicians are held annually in July, which take place at Lockenhaus Castle and in the parish church of St. Nicholas of the place take place.
