Kamran Akmal (born January 13, 1982 in Lahore ) is a Pakistani cricketer .

Career

Akmal has so far taken part in 53 tests for Pakistan and achieved a total of 2,648 runs. His first use in a test was against Zimbabwe in Harare in November 2002. Akmal has also been used in 132 one-day international matches so far. He is a quick-scoring batsman and wicket-keeper and has reached six Centuries (at least 100 runs) and twelve Half-Centuries (between 50 and 99 runs) in 92 test innings . After not being considered for the national team for three years , he was nominated again for the ODI and Twenty20 team in March 2017 due to good performances against the West Indies .
