Kanefusa KK ( Japanese 兼 房 株式会社 , Kanefusa kabushiki kaisha ) is a major Japanese tool manufacturer .

The head office is in Ōguchi , near Nagoya .

The company was founded in 1896 by the master blacksmith Kankichi Kamiya with the company name Uchihamonoshi Kanefusa and made into the joint stock company Kanefusa Hamono ("Kanefusa cutting tools") by his son Suzuo Watanabe in 1937 . It has been a public company since 1948.

Kanefusa employs over 1100 people and has three production facilities and several sales offices worldwide.

The company produces high quality industrial cutting tools such as B. circular saw blades, paper knives or milling cutters. The business activity extends to the wood, paper, metal and plastics industries.

Kanefusa has a market share of over 30% in Japan. Worldwide Kanefusa focuses exclusively on the distribution of high-end products such as B. cold circular saw blades, paper cutting knives, veneer knives, planing knives, circular saw blades and finger jointing cutters and is therefore one of the world market leaders.
