Kanfenkeng (name variant: Kanfenkeng Bambarang ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .

According to a calculation for 2013, around 613 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 390.

geography

Kanfenkeng is located in the West Coast Region , Foni Bondali District . The place is about 6.6 kilometers south of the South Bank Road , from which, between Kanjending and Bondali , a road branches off to Kanfenkeng to the south.

Culture and sights

At Kanfenkeng there is a holy place known as a place of worship under the name Fetish .
