Kang Soo-il (born July 15, 1987 in Dongducheon ) is a South Korean football player .

The striker began his career in 2007 with Incheon United in the K League . After sporadic missions he became a regular player in 2009 and reached fifth place in the league with the club. The following season Incheon was only eleventh and he moved to runner-up Jeju United . In the AFC Champions League 2011 Jeju was eliminated in the group stage. In the K League, the club then always placed in midfield and could not qualify for the AFC Champions League. In 2014, Kang Soo-il switched to reigning master Pohang Steelers . In the AFC Champions League 2014 , Pohang reached the quarter-finals and faced national rivals FC Seoul , against whom they only lost on penalties. In 2015, Kang Soo-il returned to Jeju United. In June 2015, he was tested positive for an anabolic steroid during a doping control and was banned from playing 15 games. After the suspension he signed a contract with Thespakusatsu Gunma in May 2017 . The club from Gunma Prefecture played in the second division, the J2 League . In 2018 he moved to Thailand . Ratchaburi Mitr Phol , a club in the Thai League , signed him. For the club from Ratchaburi , he played 29 games by mid-2019 and scored 6 goals. In July 2019 he went back to Japan and joined the second division club Tokyo Verdy . For the 2020 season he returned to Thailand, where he signed a contract with first division club Trat FC .
