The canton of Mamoudzou-1 is a canton in the French overseas department of Mayotte . It has an area of ​​23.4 km² and includes the villages of Passamainty, Tsoundzou 1, Tsoundzou 2 and Vahibé in the municipality of Mamoudzou .

history

From 1994 to 2015 there was a canton of the same name, which included the villages of Mamoudzou and Kaweni in the municipality of Mamoudzou, i.e. the area of ​​today's canton of Mamoudzou-3 . Assani Ali was a representative on the Mayotte General Council from 2008 to 2015.
