Pulpit in Brouckerque

The pulpit in the church of St-Omer by Brouckerque , a French commune in the Nord department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created in the first half of the 18th century. The wooden pulpit was added to the list of listed buildings ( Base Palissy ) in France in 1975 as Monument historique .

The pulpit is decorated with reliefs of the church fathers and angel heads. The staircase has a railing with panels carved in the form of plant motifs.

The sound cover is octagonal and unadorned, the underside is painted with a dove, the symbol of the Holy Spirit . The rear wall of the pulpit has been removed.
