Cape Buller is a rugged cape on the north coast of South Georgia. It is on the west side of the entrance to the Bay of Isles .
It was discovered and named in 1775 during the Second South Sea Voyage (1772–1775) of the British navigator and explorer James Cook . It is named after the British politician John Buller (1721–1786), Member of Parliament from 1746 and Lord Commissioner of the British Admiralty from 1765 to 1779 .
