Cape Casey is a striking cape on the east coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is surmounted by a 755 m high summit and marks the eastern end of a peninsula that protrudes into Cabinet Inlet immediately south of the Bevin Glacier .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) mapped the Cape in 1947 based on its own surveys. Aerial photographs were taken in December 1947 during the American Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948). The FIDS named the glacier after the Australian politician Richard Casey, Baron Casey (1890-1976), Australian Foreign Minister and member of Winston Churchill's British War Cabinet .
