The Cape Dimitrijew ( Russian Мыс Дмитриева Mys Dmitrieva ) is a cape on the East Antarctic Georg V. Coast . It juts out into the Somow Sea 28 km west of Cape Hudson .
Aerial photographs of the cape were taken during the US Operation Highjump (1946–1947) and during the Second Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1956–1958). It is named after the Soviet naval navigator IN Dimitrijew, a participant in the research trip.
