The Cape Gerlache is a cape which the northeastern foothills of the Davis Peninsula on the coast of the East Antarctic Queen Marie-country represents. It is 6 km southeast of David Island .
Participants of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson discovered it in November 1912. Mawson named the cape after the Belgian polar explorer Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery (1866-1934).
