The Cape Goldie is a chapter in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . On the Shackleton Coast , it protrudes into the Ross Ice Shelf in the mouth of the Robb Glacier .
Participants in the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904), led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott, discovered it. Scott named it after the British administrator George Taubman Goldie (1846–1925), a member of the committee that determined the scope of the expedition's research.
