Cape Sáenz ( French Cap Saens Peña [sic!]) Is a cape on the Loubet coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It forms the southern branch of the Arrowsmith Peninsula and lies between the Laubeuf Fjord and the Bigourdan Fjord .
It was discovered by participants in the Fifth French Antarctic Expedition (1908–1910) under the direction of polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot . Charcot named it after the Argentine politician Roque Sáenz Peña (1851–1914), President of Argentina from 1910 to 1913.
