The Cape Skottsberg ( English Skottsberg Point ) is a headland on the south coast of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Graham Land . It forms the west side of Mikkelsen Harbor .
The cape was discovered and mapped during the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901–1903) under the direction of Otto Nordenskjöld . He named it after the Swedish botanist Carl Johan Fredrik Skottsberg (1880–1963), a participant in the research trip .
