Cape Tuxen is a rocky cape on the Graham Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . In the southwest of the Kiev Peninsula , it marks the southern limit of the entrance to Waddington Bay and the eastern limit of the southern entrance to Penola Strait .
It was discovered and named in the course of the Belgica expedition (1897–1899) by the expedition leader Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery . The naming background or the namesake is unknown.
