Cape Wadworth is the northern branch of Coulman Island off the Borchgrevink coast of East Antarctica, Victoria .
The British polar explorer James Clark Ross discovered it on January 17, 1841 during his Antarctic expedition (1839-1843). He named it after the Wadworth Hall mansion in Doncaster , the residence of Robert John Coulman, the uncle of Ross' wife. The British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott erected a mailbox on this cape on January 15, 1902 as part of the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) in the form of a metal cylinder attached to an 8 m high red pole. This mailbox is now one of the Historic Sites and Monuments in Antarctica.
