The Cape Walcott is a massive and icy cape at the Wilkins Coast of Palmer Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . The 625 m high extension of Scripps Heights separates the entrance to Casey Inlet in the north from the one to Bertius Inlet in the south.
The Australian polar explorer Hubert Wilkins discovered it during an overflight on December 20, 1928. Wilkins named it after the American politician Frederic C. Walcott (1869-1949), who was a member of the governing body of the American Geographical Society .
