Düvier Chapel

The Düvier Chapel is a church building in Düvier , a district of the town of Loitz in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district . It belongs to the parish Gülzowshof in the Demmin provost of the Pomeranian Evangelical Church District .

A previous building, in half-timbered construction on a rectangular floor plan, was replaced by an octagonal new building in 1819/1820. The chapel, which belonged to the parish Rakow , was inaugurated on August 3, 1820. The originally estimated construction costs of 1000 thalers were exceeded by several hundred. The bell donated by the landlord weighed 350 pounds and cost 221 thalers.

The octagonal chapel with a tent roof has a plastered facade. The segment arch windows are in cleaning bottles . The entrance is in a rectangular extension on the west side.

There is a steel belfry in the cemetery.
