The Kapfhäusle is located in Lauterbach in the Black Forest ( Baden-Württemberg ). The farmhouse in Sulzbachtal is a protected architectural monument .

description

As a Leibgedinghaus, the building was the home for the old farmers of the Lauterbach Vogtsbauernhof, which burned down in the 1950s. From the Kapfhäusle as a mountain house , the far away pastures of the Vogtsbauernhof were cultivated in the summer months. The single-roof house has a living area and an economic area. The roof is thatched and is being maintained with the help of the Baden-Württemberg Monument Foundation.
