The house Kaplanei 2 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the historic Quedlinburg Neustadt on the north side of Kaplanei Street. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is listed as a residential building in the Quedlinburg Register of Monuments . The Kaplanei 1 building , which is also listed, is adjacent to the west .
Architecture and history
The core of the two-storey half - timbered house probably dates from around 1680. On the upper storey, the windows are arranged in a row of windows . In the middle of the 19th century the building was redesigned in the classicism style. The facade was plastered and a dwelling was added to the roof .
