The house Kaplanei 6 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt on the corner of the Konvent street and is listed in the Quedlinburg monument register. Kaplanei 7 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the west .

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built by the master carpenter Hans Reule in 1670 according to an inscription HANS REULE ZM on the house . The facade of the house is decorated with pyramid beam heads. Parapet wood , foot struts and profiled filler wood are further decorative elements . The threshold is also provided with flat bevels.

According to a building inscription, the building was extended to the east in 1695 by four containers with decorative brickwork up to the street Konvent.
