Karaçay is an abandoned and derelict village in Tercan County, Erzincan Province, Turkey . Karaçay is located in eastern Anatolia at 1890 m above sea level, about 27 km northwest of the district capital Tercan.
Karaçay was originally an Armenian village and is located in the mountains on a hillside. An unpaved road leads to the village. The area surrounding the former settlement is barren and treeless. The old village cemetery is located near the village ruins. In 2010 there were efforts by former villagers to make buildings habitable again.
