The Karaali Rocks are a small group of ledges in Marie Byrd Land, West Antarctica . They tower 8 km east of Matikonis Peak on the east side of the otherwise mostly snow-covered Coulter Heights .
The United States Geological Survey mapped them on the basis of their own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from the years 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1974 after the Turkish ionospheric physicist Atok Karaali (1943-2005), who began in 1968 the plateau station was active.
