The Karachay-Circassian People's Assembly ( Russian Народное Собрание Карачаево-Черкесской Республики ) is the legislature in the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia , which is a federal subject of the Russian Federation in the Federal District North Caucasus is. The chairman has been Alexander Igorewitsch Ivanov from the United Russia party since September 24, 2014 .

The parliament consists of 50 members who are elected every five years by proportional representation by the electorate of Karachay-Cherkessia.
