Karen Hassan
Karen Hassan (born July 31, 1981 in Belfast ) is a Northern Irish actress .
biography
From 2010 to 2013 she played Lynsey Nolan in the Hollyoaks series . Her work includes roles in Hollyoaks Later, Hunger and Vikings .
Hollyoaks
The character of Lynsey was created as a former girlfriend of Kris Fisher (Gerard McCarthy) and should only appear in Hollyoaks Later , a spin-off of the Hollyoaks series. In June 2010 it was announced that three new characters, Brendan Brady (Emmett J. Scanlan), Bart McQueen (Jonny Clarke) and Lynsey, would be joining Hollyoaks in August.
Speaking of the auditions, Hollyoaks producer Paul Marquess said, "This is a really exciting time for Hollyoaks and Brendan, Lynsey and Bart are bringing more fun, drama and sexiness to the show". Hassan moved to Liverpool for the role of Belfast , where Hollyoaks is being filmed.
Vikings
In 2016, she was cast as Therese in an important, recurring role in History Channels Vikings .
