Kari Rahkamo ( Kari Tapani Rahkamo; born May 30, 1933 in Lahti ) is a former Finnish triple jumper and politician ( National Collection Party ).

At the European Athletics Championships in 1954 in Bern, he came in sixth and at the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne on 14th place.

In 1957 he won bronze at the World University Games. The EM 1958 in Stockholm he finished sixth at the 1960 Olympics in Rome and eight at the European Championships in 1962 in Belgrade eleventh.

From 1958 to 1960 he was Finnish champion three times in a row. He set his personal best of 16.40 m on September 25, 1960 in Colombes .

From 1991 to 1996 he was Lord Mayor of Helsinki .

His daughter Susanna Rahkamo was successful as a figure skater.
