Karies is a German punk band from Stuttgart , which belongs to the subgenre post-punk .
history
The band from Stuttgart released their first demo in 2013, Fun ist ein Stahlbad .
The debut album, Be Entangled, Millions was released on October 2, 2014. The album with eleven songs was produced in the youth center KOMMA in Esslingen by Die Nerven singer and guitarist Max Rieger.
Numerous appearances followed on a tour of Germany and support appearances for bands such as Turbostaat and Sleaford Mods .
In addition to Max Rieger, the musician and producer Ralv Milberg was also responsible for the production of the second album Es geht sich aus (2016). The album received several positive reviews, including 9.5 out of 10 points from the independent magazine prettyinnoise.de .
The current album Alice was released on October 12, 2018. Drummer Kevin Kuhn is currently busy with his bands Die Nerven and Wolf Mountains and will be replaced on the current tour by Paul Schwarz, drummer of the band Human Abfall .
