Karin Hagemann (born November 16, 1949 in Paderborn ) is a German politician ( Die Grünen ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

Karin Hagemann worked as a children's nurse in Giessen . On April 8, 1991, she replaced Iris Blaul in the state parliament, to which she was a member for two terms until October 9, 1997. Your successor in the state parliament was Andreas Kammerbauer .

The reason for her resignation from the state parliament in 1997 was her election as mayor of the city of Giessen. The red-green coalition there failed in 2001 and Karin Hagemann was voted out of office prematurely.
