Karin Mönkemeyer

Karin Mönkemeyer (* 1938 ) is a German journalist and author .

Life

In the 1960s, she initially wrote articles for Capital , then worked for the Bahlsen biscuit factory in Hanover and created guides on family leisure activities. From 1973 she published several books on the television series Sesame Street , including Bibo's eye candy . She was also the editor of the magazine Sesamstraße in the publishing house Gruner & Jahr .

Towards the end of the 1970s, Mönkemeyer worked for the Pelikan publishing house in Hanover and published several collections of jokes in the Trampbücher series , including Aus der Schule and Funny Short Stories and Anecdotes . In the 1990s, Mönkemeyer and psychologist Inge Nordhoff (known from the school magazine Treff ) wrote a book about friendships between men and women, which was also translated into Korean.
