Karin Nink (* 1961 , temporarily also Karin Nink-Lepartz ) is a German journalist and editor-in-chief of Vorwärts and the municipal magazine DEMO .

Career

Nink began her journalistic career at the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger . In 1995 she moved to taz , where she shared a position as parliamentary correspondent with Tina Stadlmayer. From the end of 1996 to 1999 she worked for three years as a France correspondent in Paris . In 2000, Nink went to the Financial Times Deutschland as a political correspondent . In 2004 Nink became spokeswoman for the then SPD chairman Franz Müntefering . Before Nink was appointed editor-in-chief of Vorwärts in 2013 , she coordinated public relations work for the five deputies of party leader Sigmar Gabriel in the Willy Brandt House . Since May 2015 Nink has also been editor-in-chief of the municipal magazine DEMO . In October 2015 she was also appointed managing director of the Berliner vorwärts Verlagsgesellschaft (BvVG), the publisher of Vorwärts and DEMO , which belongs to the DDVG .

Nink lives in Berlin.
