Karin Rogalski-Beeck

Karin Rogalski-Beeck (born March 19, 1946 in Hamburg ) is a German SPD politician and was a member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

Rogalski-Beeck was employed in a craft business . (Now retired) She is married and has two children.

In addition to her parliamentary work, she is the tenant representative of the housing cooperative “Allgemeine Deutsche Schiffszimmerer-Genossenschaft eG” and a member of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO).

Rogalski-Beeck has been a member of the SPD since 1972. From 1982 to 1986 she was a deputy in the school board. She was a district member of Hamburg-Bergedorf from 1986–1993. She is also deputy SPD district chairman in Bergedorf.

From 1993 to 2008 she was a member of the Hamburg Parliament. She represented the SPD in the European Committee, Health Committee and in the Committee for Family, Children and Youth. She was also a member of the “Neglected Children” special committee. Her political focus is on child and youth policy.
