Karin Timmel

Karin Timmel (* 1958 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a German administrator and teacher. From 1993 to 2001 she was a district administrator of the district Rügen .

Life

Karin Timmel completed her studies at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald as a qualified teacher for geography and mathematics. After studying research, she was awarded a Dr. rer. nat. PhD . She completed her studies at the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Administration and Business Academy in Greifswald from 1993 to 1995 with a degree in administration.

In 1993, Karin Timmel, who has been the department head for waste, water management and environmental protection since 1990, was elected district administrator for the Rügen district. This office was held by Karin Timmel, who was not party to the party and who later belonged to the “Bündnis für Rügen” voter association .

From 2002 she was regional manager for the Rostock economic area and managing director of the Rostock / Güstrow / Bad Doberan Marketing Initiative e. V. From 2004 to 2006 she worked for BioCon Valley GmbH.
