FC Köln scored nine goals (9-0 final score) in the quarter-finals for the DFB Cup . In the Oberliga Nordrhein he was runner- up with the ETB 1979/80 and 1984/85 and missed the return to professional football. In 1986 he ended his active career with over 330 competitive games for the black and white.
