Karl-Heinz Diehl (born February 6, 1944 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The defender Karl-Heinz Diehl began his career at VfB 03 Bielefeld and moved to the regional league club VfL Osnabrück in 1968 . With the Osnabrückers Diehl became champions of the Regionalliga Nord three times in a row, but also failed all three times in the promotion round to the Bundesliga to Rot-Weiss Essen , Arminia Bielefeld and VfL Bochum . He completed 60 regional league games for Osnabrück and scored four goals and 14 promotion round matches with two goals. In the summer of 1971 he switched to TuS Haste 01 and then played for TuRa Grönenberg Melle, returned to his hometown club VfB 03 Bielefeld and ended his career at Bünder SV .
